Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

1.  The articles must be original; research based and applied theoretical studies. 

2.    The submitted articles have to be attached with two letters of authorships legally signed by the writer that contains: 1) a declaration letter stated that the text does not contain any fabricated data, not result and comprise plagiarism, not under the process of publication of different format, all the names attached in ownership lines become the right in accordance with Vancouver Convention on Co-authorship, and they must agree the final form of the purposed text; 2) a declaration letter stated that the writer give the copy right of widespread and commercial publication  to the journal management.

3.       The articles must be written in Indonesian, Arabic, or English, 20-22 pages at length, Quarto paper size, and single space.  Indonesian and English articles must be written in Garamond font type, 12 size, however, the Arabic article must be in Traditional Arabic.

4.    The manuscript that has been written under the guidelines of  NUANSA (in MS Word format, use this article template) must be submitted through Online Submission System using Open Journal System (OJS) on the NUANSA e-journal portal

5.       The article must contain the followings:

(a) title,

The Title Is Short And Contains Substance. From this article typed using 12pt Garamond Font and  Bold with the center text alignment

(b) the author

name author(without academic degree) , the affiliation address of the author, and e-mail, should be written with the center text alignment also under the title of the article.

(c)  abstract, 

The abstract explains the essence of the article which is informative and absolutely clear, by including the main problem, the approach or the proposed solution and showing the main findings and conclusions. Abstract uses English and Indonesian. The number of words in the abstract between 150-200 words, arranged in one paragraph, if there are foreign terms that have not been standardized written italically. the word of absctract between 150 – 200 words and typed using 11pt Garamond Font with a single space

(d) keywords,

consist of 3-5 word

(e)  introduction

The introduction includes the background of the issue or problem and the urgency, rationalization, and purpose of the research (which distinguishes it from other studies). A review of relevant literature and the development of hypotheses (if any) can be included in this section. The typeface used to form the introduction is Garamond size 12 and single linespace. Provisions for citations using Footenote. in doing citations it is emphasized to use reference manager applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

(f)  research method

The method section for the research paper may contain the design of steps or procedures performed in data collection or data analysis techniques used in research or studies. Articles that are of the nature of the study can contain steps in data collection, analysis techniques, criteria or reference standards used to conduct studies and the flow of thinking in conducting studies. The method can also be a way that is used to resolve the problem in the article.

(g) results and discussion

The results of the research and discussion are presented in a single unit, without the need to make separate chapters. The statistical calculation process and hypothesis testing process need not be presented. Only the results of the analysis and the results of hypothesis testing need to be reported. The results of the study can be supplemented by tables, pictures and graphs to clarify the presentation of the results of the research verbally. Tables and graphs must be commented or discussed. Writing tables, pictures and graphics are placed in the middle. With numbers and titles with pictures, tables or graphics

(h) conclusion/recommendation.

   Conclusions are written in one paragraph, which is a summary of the results and discussion as well as answering the objectives of the research / publication. Emphasis on the novelty of discovery or development. This section can contain suggestions compiled for practical activities or further research based on the novelty found

6.   The Arabic words must use the Arabic orthography and the words which are not standardized in Indonesian must be written in italic. Examples: siyâsî, rokat tase’

7.  Foot note must be written as follows:

  • Book:  author, comma, book’s title in italic, bracket, the city of publication, colon, publisher, comma, year,  bracket, comma, page (using hlm abbreviation), period,

Example: Mardjono Reksodiputro, Bunga Rampai Permasalahan dalam Sistem Peradilan Pidana (Jakarta: Pusat Pelayanan Keadilan dan Pengabdian Hukum Universitas Indonesia, 1997), hlm.

  • Magazine: author, comma, apostrophe, title, apostrophe, comma, name of journal/magazine, comma, volume, period, number, period, month, comma, year, bracket, city, comma, name of institution, bracket, comma, page (using hlm abbreviation), period, page  number, period.

Example: M. Irkani, “Keterlibatan Masyarakat dalam Proses Hukum”, Khazanah Majalah Ilmiah Keagamaan dan Kemasyarakatan, vol.1 No. 03 Mei – Juni 2002 (Banjarmasin, IAIN Antasari), hlm. 324.

  • Website: author, comma, apostrophe, title, apostrophe, source, comma, article edition, colon, website address, period.

Example: Azyumardi Azra, “Agama dan Otentisitas Islam”, Republika,25Oktober2002:http://www.republika.co.id/kolomactail.asp?id=101205 dikat id:16.

  • Newspaper: name of newspaper, comma, title, comma, author (if there is any), day, comma, date, comma, month, year, comma, page (using hlm abbreviation),, period, comma, page number, period.

Example: Jawa Pos, Rentan Jatuh sakitkamis, 13 Juli 2006, hlm. 35.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
