Based on pre-research observations at MTs Hidayatut-Thullab Robatal Sampang, it was found that teachers were lacking in using learning media. For this reason, researchers decided to develop media for social studies learning, namely the Kopas (Kotak Belajar Praaksara. The purpose of this study is to describe the procedure for developing Kopas (Kotak Belajar Praaksara) media and to identify the feasibility of the Kopas (Kotak Belajar Praaksara) media on the social studies content of human life material in the preliteracy period. This research uses research and development methods (Research and Development) using a 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results showed that Kopas media is suitable for use because it meets the eligibility requirements that have been validated by experts, from material experts 4.7 with very feasible categories and from media experts 3.3 with feasible categories. The response from the teacher got a score of 88.6% showing that the Kopas media was very feasible and from the students' responses got a score of 87.8% which means the Kopas media is very interesting reaching an average of 65% (active).
Nurul Hidayati A Fatikhul Amin Abdullah Copyright (c) 2024 SOCIALE: International Journal of Social Studies 2024-09-30 2024-09-30 1 2 1 18 10.19105/sociale.v1i2.15092 Cultivation of Social Attitudes Through The Project Program of Strengthening The Student Profile of Pancasila and The Student Profile of Rahmatan Lil Alamin. http://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/sociale/article/view/15323
The decline in social attitudes was caused by restrictions on community activities during the Covid-19 virus that hit the world, so the Indonesian government in 2020 imposed restrictions on community activities, including teaching and learning activities in educational institutions. Therefore, the impact of the enactment of the regulation causes a phenomenon of declining social attitudes in students. This is seen from teaching and learning activities that are only through digital and virtual in the sense that students do not have direct interaction between others, one of the flagship programs is P5- PPRA or the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile and the rahmatan lil alamin student profile. At MTs Negeri 2 Sumenep, it has implemented an independent curriculum since 2022 and has implemented project-based lessons. Therefore, it is important to cultivate good social attitudes, especially through project activities to strengthen the Pancasila student profile and the rahmatan lil alamin student profile. The research conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Sumenep uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. This research was conducted to describe how to cultivate social attitudes through the Pancasila profile strengthening project program at MTS Negeri 2 Sumenep.
Robith sobaro Muhammad Hadiatur Rahman Copyright (c) 2024 SOCIALE: International Journal of Social Studies 2024-09-30 2024-09-30 1 2 19 35 10.19105/sociale.v1i2.15323 Enhancing Social Studies Learning Outcomes through Interactive Ice Breaking and Peer Teaching Strategies in Junior High School http://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/sociale/article/view/15227
This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) class IX-E at SMPN 5 Pamekasan through the interactive ice breaking game method “hooray-huuu” and the “Everyone is a Teacher Here” (ETH) strategy. This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method consisting of two cycles, each of two meetings. The research subjects were 29 students. In cycle I, the student learning completeness rate reached 52%, while in cycle II it increased to 92%. This increase showed that the use of interactive game method and ETH strategy was effective in improving students' learning outcomes and motivation. The results recommend this method to create a more fun and participatory learning atmosphere, which allows students to be more active and understand the subject matter well.
Dini Ahmad Imam Khairi Copyright (c) 2024 SOCIALE: International Journal of Social Studies 2024-09-30 2024-09-30 1 2 36 50 10.19105/sociale.v1i2.15227 Improving Learning Outcomes of Students of Class VII A Social Studies Subjects Through Mind Mapping Media. http://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/sociale/article/view/15402
The minimal use of media in learning activities can cause student learning outcomes to decline. This is because learning tends to use the lecture method, assignments depend on textbooks, are less interesting and learning feels boring. As a result, students become inactive and reluctant to listen to explanations of the material presented by the teacher, so that students do not understand the material being studied. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (PTK), earch cycle consists of four stages, namely the planning stage, action implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, questionnaires, documentation, interviews, teacher observation sheets and student activity observation sheets. Based on research, it shows that mind mapping learning media can improve student learning outcomes. In cycle I the cognitive domain reached a percentage of 63.23 (poor category), the affective domain reached a percentage of 62.66 (good category) and the psychomotor domain reached a percentage 35.5 (very poor category) then in cycle II there was an increase, namely in the cognitive domain the percentage 78.43 (very good category), affective domain of 82 (very good category) and psychomotor domain 84.5 (very good category). Thus, it can be concluded that mind mapping learning media can improve the learning outcomes of class VII A students in social studies at SMP Negeri 8 Pamekasan.
Lilis Yunita Sari Sahrul Romadhon Copyright (c) 2024 SOCIALE: International Journal of Social Studies 2024-09-30 2024-09-30 1 2 51 64 10.19105/sociale.v1i2.15402 Enhancing Students Interest in Social Studies through Wordwall Application http://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/sociale/article/view/15356
This research was motivated by the initial condition of class VII-D students at SMPN 8 Pamekasan where during the lesson the students were still less focused on the lesson, still talking to their classmates and the students were easily bored with the material being presented. This is because the method used by teachers is still in the form of lectures and the lack of use of learning media. Under these conditions, class VII-D students cannot develop indicators of learning interest in social studies learning. Therefore, the use of learning media is very important to increase students' interest in learning. To increase students' interest in learning by implementing the wordwall application in social studies learning.

This research used the classroom action research (PTK) method which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle there are three meetings which consist of: Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. The subject of this research is class VII-D with a total of 29 students at SMPN 8 Pamekasan and there are 3 data collection techniques in this research, namely: Observation, Questionnaire and Documentation.

The results of this research in cycle I in the analysis of teacher observation sheets reached category 2.9, the results from student observation sheets reached 47% and on the student interest questionnaire reached 67%. The research results show that the scramble learning model can increase student activity in teaching and learning activities. This is shown by the results of a simple linear regression analysis test with a sig value smaller than the alpha value, namely 0.00 < 0.05, which means the scramble model has a positive and significant effect on student activity. influenced by the results of the coefficient of determination test which produced an influence value of 56% on student activity at SMP Negeri 1 Pademawu, while the rest was influenced by 44%.
