The approach in this study uses quantitative-qualitative methods with regression and narrative data analysis methods. Respondents in this study were married couples who were in the Qaryah Tayyibah community totaling 31 people. The results of the quantitative analysis show that resilience and spirituality can explain and influence marital peace by less than 1%. This means that the other 99% is influenced by different factors. In the F test, the results show that resilience and spirituality do not affect marital peace. The t-test is negative, indicating that the resilience variable does not affect marital peace, as well as the spirituality variable. Results of the narrative analysis of qualitative data from focus group discussions (FGDs) reveal that the resilience variable has a relationship with spirituality but no relationship with the marital peace variable. This study can provide an empirical contribution, namely the support of spirituality variables on marital resilience and effective communication, social support, and emotional intimacy to maintain a healthy relationship despite facing challenges.
2025-02-22T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Afita Nur Hayati, Sai Handari, Firda Karwina Awaliah, Aulia Rahmatul Azizah, Ikrima Bestari Agsal Kurniad https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/educons/article/view/15372 Individual Counseling Guide Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy Approach Self-Talk Technique for Guidance and Counseling Teachers 2025-02-22T20:32:56+07:00 Romiaty romiaty@fkip.upr.ac.id Fendahapsari Singgih Sendayu fendahapsari@fkip.upr.ac.id Nonsihai nonsihai2@gmail.com Nopi Feronika nopiferonika@gmail.com Herda Fitri Br Ginting herdafitri782@gmail.com
Individual counseling services are services to help solve student problems. One approach that can help students is the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) counseling approach, the Self-Talk technique. However, this approach is not used by Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers; therefore, BK teachers in high school should have a complete guide to implement this approach. This research aims to develop an individual counseling guide using the REBT Self-Talk technique approach for high school guidance and counseling teachers in Palangka Raya. The research method in this study uses the development method or Research and Development (R&D). This development research procedure uses a 4D (four D) model, namely Define, Design, Development, Disseminate. The population of this study was high school guidance and counseling teachers in Palangka Raya City, totaling 30 people. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use quantitative and qualitative. The research results show that the guide has been validated and has received assessments from expert testers. Media experts with an accumulated feasibility value of 1,109 are calculated based on a high coefficient value, which means they are suitable for use. Material experts with an accumulated feasibility value of 0.945 are calculated based on the high coefficient values which is high, which means feasible. Practitioner experts have an accumulated feasibility value of 1.16 which is declared suitable for use. They have carried out a small group test with the calculated value resulting in an effect size of 0.904, so it can be concluded that the test has high effect criteria. The limitation of this research is that it was only tested on a small group and not on a large group.
2025-02-22T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Romiaty, Fendahapsari Singgih Sendayu, Nonsihai, Nopi Feronika, Herda Fitri Br Ginting https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/educons/article/view/18247 Post-Divorce Adjustment in Divorced Madurese Women 2025-02-22T20:48:52+07:00 Faqihul Muqoddam faqihul.muqaddam@trunojoyo.ac.id Ishlakhatus Sa'idah ishlakhatus@iainmadura.ac.id
The prevalence of divorce in Madurese society has increased in recent years, and the party that feels the most impact of divorce is women. This study aims to explain the adjustment of Madurese women after divorce. This study uses a qualitative method with a Phenomenological approach. Data collection used in-depth interview techniques involving 13 Madurese women who had divorced. Data were analyzed using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) technique which involved eight stages of data analysis. Data credibility was carried out using the member check technique. The results of the study showed two themes, namely emotional dynamics and post-divorce adjustment in Madurese women. The emotional dynamics of divorced Madurese women include loneliness, sadness, hopeless, disappointment, regret, pessimism, and relief. Meanwhile, the post-divorce adjustment process that they do includes seeking social support, busying themselves with various activities, getting closer to God through prayer and worship, trying to divert memories, regulating emotions, and rebuilding self-confidence. This study is useful for Madurese women as a basis or guideline in making adjustments after divorce. It is also important to understand that the role of close people can contribute greatly to helping divorced women adjust.
2025-02-22T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Faqihul Muqoddam, Ishlakhatus Sa'idah https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/educons/article/view/18081 Exploration of the Relationship between Optimism, Resilience, and Psychological Well-Being in Guidance and Counseling Students 2025-02-22T20:32:56+07:00 Akhmad Harum Harum akhmad.harum@unm.ac.id Suciani Latif suciani.latif@unm.ac.id Muzayyinah Al Uzrah muzayyinahalusrah19@upi.edu
The purpose of this study was to examine the relations of optimism, resilience, and psychological well-being in guidance and counseling students. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Data were collected through questionnaires, using 3 scales, namely the optimism scale (Revised Life Orientation Test/LOT-R), resilience scale (Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale/CD-RISC), and psychological well-being scale (Psychological well-being Ryff's Scale). A total of 246 guidance and counseling students participated in this study. The research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between optimism and resilience variables on students' psychological well-being. The optimism variable has a positive influence on psychological well-being, while the resilience variable has an opposite (negative) influence on the psychological well-being of guidance and counseling students. Thus, it can be concluded that although guidance and counseling students have a high level of resilience, students may also experience greater stress, pressure, or demands so that resilience negatively affects the psychological well-being felt by students. In addition, students who have a high sense of optimism will tend to improve psychological well-being.
2025-02-22T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Akhmad Harum Harum, Suciani Latif, Muzayyinah Al Uzrah https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/educons/article/view/15287 The Influence of Group Guidance Services Based on Problem Based Learning Approach on Improving Students' Critical Thinking Skills 2025-02-22T20:32:56+07:00 Ghina Rachmawati ghinaarahmawati@gmail.com Ardimen ardimen@uinmybatusangkar.ac.id Masril masril@gmail.com Rahmad Hidayat rahmadhidayat@gmail.com
A person's success is not only determined by their intellectual intelligence, but is also determined by their ability to think critically.
