This research employs a field research method with a phenomenological approach, utilizing direct observation and semi-structured interviews with teachers and students. Data were analyzed qualitatively to understand the real-life implementation of hadith in daily character-building activities. The study focuses on three hadith: the prohibition of anger, the recommendation to smile, and the prohibition of eating and drinking while standing. Based on hadith authentication, two hadith are categorized as ṣaḥīḥ and one as ḥasan. The findings indicate that the teaching of these hadith is not merely theoretical but significantly influences children’s behavior, fostering positive character traits in both personal and social contexts. This research highlights the importance of incorporating hadith-based character education in early childhood Islamic education and suggests that similar methods could be applied in other Islamic learning institutions.
Annisa Fitri Azzahra Copyright (c) 2024 El Nubuwwah: Jurnal Studi Hadis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/ https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/elnubuwwah/article/view/14753 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Peran Website dalam Penyebaran Hadis di Era Digital https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/elnubuwwah/article/view/15407
This study explores the impact of digitalization on hadith scholarship, particularly the role of websites in the dissemination and study of hadith in the modern era. Digitalization has significantly improved access to hadith sources, enabling the global transmission of Islamic teachings. However, it also presents challenges related to data authenticity, textual variations, and shifts in scholarly authority within Islamic studies. Employing a literature-based qualitative approach, this research analyzes various digital platforms that support hadith scholarship, including Waqfeya, Dorar.net, CariHadis.com, and Hadis Digital Online All in One, which serve as repositories providing access to hadith texts and related references. The findings indicate that digitalization facilitates hadith retrieval, fosters academic research, and enhances the integration of technology into Islamic studies. However, concerns over data integrity, textual accuracy, and scholarly credibility remain significant. While digital platforms offer unprecedented access to hadith, the lack of standardized validation methods raises the risk of misinformation and misinterpretation. Therefore, this study highlights the necessity of establishing rigorous validation standards and adopting reliable verification mechanisms to maintain the credibility and scholarly integrity of digital hadith resources. Strengthening digital literacy and scholarly oversight is essential to ensure that digital platforms serve as accurate and authoritative sources for hadith studies. This research contributes to the ongoing discourse on the intersection of technology and Islamic scholarship, emphasizing the importance of maintaining academic rigor in the digital transmission of hadith
Abdul Hamid Copyright (c) 2024 El Nubuwwah: Jurnal Studi Hadis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/ https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/elnubuwwah/article/view/15407 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Membedah Hadis Ipar adalah Maut https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/elnubuwwah/article/view/15083
This study is motivated by the complexity of familial relationships in pre-Islamic Arab society and their ongoing transformation in the contemporary era. Interactions between non-mahram family members often lead to potential fitnah and conflict, necessitating a critical examination of the hadith, "The brother-in-law is a source of danger." This hadith carries profound meanings within the social and moral framework of Islam, thus requiring further analysis. This study investigates the authenticity of the hadith's sanad and matan using a qualitative literature review approach. The primary sources analyzed include Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Tirmidhi, Sunan al-Darimi, and Musnad Ahmad, alongside theoretical frameworks related to sanad and matan criticism in hadith studies. The analysis reveals that this hadith is not merely a literal prohibition but rather a warning against the dangers of uncontrolled interactions within the family environment. Unrestricted interactions can lead to moral deviations, fitnah, and even the potential disintegration of the Islamic social order. These findings affirm that ethical boundaries in social interactions remain relevant across different eras, both in traditional societies and in the digital age, where communication is increasingly open and complex. The implications of this study underscore the importance of integrating Sharia values into social and educational policies to enhance ethical awareness and create a harmonious environment adaptable to contemporary challenges. Furthermore, this study contributes to the development of contemporary Islamic thought and encourages the reformulation of ethical policies in both family and professional settings.
Abd. This book was published during the formulation of the Indonesian Marriage Law of 1973, making it part of Buya Hamka’s efforts to defend and honor women in an Islamic framework. Based on this background, this study focuses on two main research questions: first, how does Buya Hamka interpret the status of women in the context of hadith as discussed in his book? Second, how does he understand women's virtues and roles in marriage from the perspective of hadith? This research employs content analysis with a qualitative approach, gathering data from books, classical hadith collections, and relevant literature. The primary source is Buya Hamka Berbicara tentang Perempuan, supplemented by hadith compilations, journal articles, and other supporting references. The findings indicate that Buya Hamka views Islam as granting women an esteemed and dignified position in various aspects of life, particularly in marriage. The Qur’an and hadith provide not only gender equity in many aspects but also special recognition of women’s roles, affirming their vital contributions to family and society. Therefore, Buya Hamka’s interpretation underscores that Islam not only upholds women’s dignity but also grants them fair and proportional rights in accordance with Islamic teachings.
Muhammad Royyan Faqih Azhary Copyright (c) 2024 El Nubuwwah: Jurnal Studi Hadis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/ https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/elnubuwwah/article/view/18312 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Analisis Zakat Profesi dalam Zakat Mal Berdasarkan Kajian Hadis https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/elnubuwwah/article/view/14581
The phenomenon in society shows that individuals with high incomes, such as lecturers, doctors, and lawyers, often lack awareness regarding the obligation to pay professional zakat. One of the main reasons is the absence of explicit regulations on professional zakat during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), leading some to believe that it is not mandatory. However, as Islamic jurisprudence evolves, professional zakat has been increasingly examined by scholars and Islamic institutions as a relevant form of zakat in the context of the modern economy. This study aims to analyze the interpretation of hadiths and scholarly opinions regarding the obligation of professional zakat in Islam. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, reviewing various literature sources, classical Islamic jurisprudence books, and fatwas from different schools of thought. According to Yusuf Qaradawi, the threshold (niṣāb) for professional zakat is analogous to gold and silver zakat, set at the equivalent of 85 grams of gold, with a zakat rate of 2.5% on net income. The findings indicate that professional zakat plays a crucial role in enhancing societal welfare, reducing economic disparities, and strengthening social solidarity. Although scholars hold differing views on its obligatory status, professional zakat has been widely endorsed in Indonesia through various fatwas issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and other Islamic institutions. Therefore, professional zakat is not only a religious obligation for Muslims but also serves as an economic instrument to promote equitable and sustainable welfare distribution.
Gheani Rihadatul Aisyi, Dyah Amelia Putri, Dadah Dadah Copyright (c) 2024 El Nubuwwah: Jurnal Studi Hadis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/ https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/elnubuwwah/article/view/14581 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700
