Implikasi Komitmen Kepemimpinan Islam dan Dimensi Green Finance dalam Mendorong Kinerja Berkelanjutan Perbankan Syariah Indonesia

Abstract

Konsep Green Finance (GF) dipandang sebagai awal dari pengembangan ekonomi hijau lembaga keuangan di Indonesia. Perbankan syariah sebagai lembaga keuangan syariah memiliki potensi tinggi untuk berkontribusi dalam ekosistem GF yang berkelanjutan. Komitmen bank syariah dan peran kepemimpinan syariah dalam manajemen puncak diperlukan dalam implementasi GF pada program kehijauan internal-eksternal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk eksplorasi pengetahuan lebih lanjut mengenai faktor pengaruh green financing terhadap kinerja berkelanjutan bank syariah di Indonesia dengan mempertimbangkan komitmen bank dan kepemimpinan syariah. Studi ini mempertimbangkan pendapat bankir melalui studi kuantitatif survei online menggunakan analisis SEM PLS dalam menguji sembilan hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan Islam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap dimensi ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan GF sedangkan komitmen bank berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap dimensi sosial. Selanjutnya, pengujian hipotesis dimensi GF terhadap kinerja bank syariah yang berkelanjutan menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap dimensi ekonomi-lingkungan dan tidak signifikan terhadap dimensi sosial. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya komitmen perbankan syariah dan kepemimpinan ekologis Muslim pada manajerial bank syariah untuk mendorong GF dalam ekspansi ekonomi jangka panjang yang berkelanjutan, memajukan sektor perbankan serta mendorong ekonomi hijau berkelanjutan yang dicanangkan pemerintah Republik Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, implikasi kebijakan manajerial utama dibahas.
