STRATEGI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM MERESPON GLOBALISASI PENDIDIKAN: STUDI EMPIRIS PADA SMK PLUS AL HASANAH TASIKMALAYA


Abstract
The purpose of this study is to understand the ability of the Indonesian nation to respond to the challenges of globalization of education after the independence reform. This research approach uses descriptive analysis, while the type of exploration is library research. In searching for data, manuscript studies are used. The results of this study are that the Indonesian nation has shown the ability to respond to these challenges. Improving the quality of education, utilizing technology and internationalizing education are important steps that continue to be developed. The changes include curriculum reform, improving the quality of teachers, utilizing ICT, increasing access to education in remote areas by involving various stakeholders, including the government, society, and the business world, so that Indonesia can take advantage of globalization to improve the quality of education and produce a generation that is ready to face global competition even though the consequences of this globalization are that Indonesian society is ready to respond to the negative and positive impacts of globalization, the Indonesian nation should tend to be relative as the Islamic manhaj which is reflective and moderate and Indonesian society is happy with its character, does not avoid new things and does not admit it to the extreme
