Fatikhul Amin Abdullahfatikhul@iainmadura.ac.id
Research in general was carried out to determine the effect of applying the Quantum Learning model on the interpersonal intelligence of class IX students at SMP Plus Al Madaniyah. This research uses quantitative experimental methods, pre-experimental design, one group pretest posttest. The population and sample of this research was class IX of SMP Plus Al Madaniyah Branta Tinggi Pamekasan, totaling 25 students. The object of the research is students' interpersonal intelligence. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews and observation. The data collection instruments used in this research were questionnaire sheets, interview guidelines and observation sheets. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research results showed that the interpersonal intelligence of class IX students at SMP Plus Al Madaniyah before the Quantum Learning learning model was implemented was in the medium category. Based on the pretest-posttest score analysis, it was found that the average score of the experimental class that was treated was higher, namely 69.2 compared to the experimental class before being treated with a score of 63.64. And based on the results of the paired sample T test with the help of SPSS Version 22 for Windows, the pretest posttest results obtained a significance value of 0.009, less than 0.05. This shows that the hypothesis in this research (Ha) is accepted, namely that there is an influence of the application of the Quantum learning learning model on students' interpersonal intelligence and rejection (Ho). From the research results, it can be concluded that the Quantum learning model is able to improve the interpersonal intelligence of class IX students at SMP Plus Al Madaniyah Branta Tinggi Pamekasan and provide a positive influence
2025-03-26T12:24:59+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 SOCIALE: International Journal of Social Studies https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/sociale/article/view/18406Enhancing Geography Learning: Development of 'Map Box' (Kopeta) as an Innovative Educational Tool for 7th Grade Social Studies at SMPN 3 Pamekasan 2025-03-26T21:04:45+07:00Sri Wahyunisri777340@gmail.comAhmad Imam Khairikhairi.ahmadimam@gmail.com
The design used in this research is R&D (research and design), based on facts found in the field, students' lack of motivation in learning, especially social studies subjects, because the use of media by teachers is limited to visual and audio-visual media only. Nurus Sholah Pamekasan, which results in student boredom and a lack of responsibility in completing assignments. Many students do not submit their tasks on time, and their engagement in learning activities remains low. To overcome this issue, the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model was implemented as an innovative approach to enhance students' sense of responsibility. The research aims to identify pre-learning, learning, and post-learning strategies used by teachers in fostering responsibility among Grade VII students. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, with analysis based on the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, which involves data collection, condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that teachers prepare learning tools aligned with the 2013 curriculum, emphasizing responsibility as an essential aspect of student development. During learning, teachers act as facilitators, encouraging active participation and implementing strategies that promote student accountability in completing tasks. The PBL model helps students analyze real-life problems, engage in discussions, and develop problem-solving skills, which further strengthen their sense of responsibility. In post-learning activities, teachers summarize lessons, provide feedback, and assess understanding through questioning to measure student learning outcomes. The results indicate that the PBL model effectively increases student engagement, critical thinking, and responsibility in completing assignments on time. This study highlights the importance of innovative teaching strategies to enhance student responsibility, which can contribute to better learning outcomes in social studies education.
2025-03-29T22:05:05+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 SOCIALE: International Journal of Social Studies https://ejournal.iainmadura.ac.id/index.php/sociale/article/view/18770IPS Teacher's Efforts In Increasing Students' Interest In Learning Class VIII C Through The Jigsaw Cooperative Method At Mts Darul Ulum II Bujur Tengah2025-03-29T22:30:47+07:00Hotim Febriliya Setiyawatititinsetiawati0522@gmail.comFaraniena Yunaeni Risdianafrisdiana@iainmadura.ac.id
This study aims to understand the efforts of social studies teachers in increasing the learning interest of Class VIII C students through the implementation of the cooperative Jigsaw method at MTs Darul Ulum II Bujur Tengah, Pamekasan. Additionally, this research focuses on identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of the Jigsaw method. The research employed a classroom action research (CAR) method, with data collection through observation, questionnaires, and post-tests conducted in two cycles. The results showed an increase in students' interest and participation after the application of the Jigsaw method. In Cycle 1, the average student motivation reached 78.1% and increased in Cycle 2 to 84.4%. However, despite the rise in student motivation, learning outcomes required more attention in Cycle 1, where only 41.67% of students achieved mastery. In Cycle 2, learning outcomes significantly improved, with 87.5% of students reaching mastery. The supporting factors for the success of this method included cooperation among students in groups and efficient time management, while inhibiting factors included a lack of time management and group supervision. Based on these findings, the cooperative Jigsaw method can be an effective alternative to increase students' learning interest and motivation in social studies, with better classroom and time management.
2025-03-29T22:23:13+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 SOCIALE: International Journal of Social Studies
