Author Guidelines
Articles written for the Mabny Journal include articles on sharia management and business in the form of conceptual ideas, literature studies, or research results from various perspectives.
Start from Volume 05 No 02 (2025), The manuscript should be following are the provisions on article writing in Mabny Journal. That is:
- manuscript must be scientific in forms of conceptual ideas or research results;
- manuscript must be original and have never been published in any media
- manuscript must be written in English, on A4 paper size, single space, maximum 20 pages;
- manuscript is directly sent via OJS Journal;
- The author must complete the data fields available in OJS account;
- It is preferable to use the available template;
- The authors must be willing to follow the editing process set by the Editor;
- The author must write the reference based on American Psychological Association. You are referred to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Sixth (6th) or Seventh (7th) Edition and recommended to use the Zotero or Mandeley application.
Structure of the manuscripts :
- Title. The title should be clear and informative, and not more than 8 words.
- Author's names and institutions. The author's names should be accompanied by the author's institutions and email addresses, without any academic title. For a joint paper, one of the authors should be notified as the corresponding author.
- Abstract, keywords. Authors must supply a structured abstract in their submission, set out under 4-7 sub-headings.
a. Purpose (mandatory)
Maximum is 250 words in total (including keywords). The key words should be of 3 to 5 words or phrases.
b. Design/methodology/approach (mandatory)
c. Findings (mandatory)
d. Research limitations/implications (if applicable)
e. Practical implications (mandatory)
f. Social implications (if applicable)
g. Originality/value (mandatory) - Introduction. This section explains the background of the study, a review on the previous researches in the area, and aims of the manuscripts. Importantly it should also show the significance and novelty of the research.
- Literature Review and Hypotheses Development. This section describes the review of related literature and the hypotheses building syncronized from the grand theories and previous related research findings.
- Methods. This section describes the appropriate tools of analysis along with the data and their sources.
- Results. This section explains the results of the study. It should be presented clearly and concisely.
- Discussion. In discussion section, Author(s) should relate the research findings with the novelty or the contribution of the work to the business and management literature.
- Implication. In this section, Author(s) must give managerial implications related to the research findings.
- Conclusion. This section concludes and provides policy implications, if any, of the study. The conclusion(s) should be at the same order with ones discussed in the body of the manuscript.
- References. This section lists only the papers, books, or other types of publications referred to in the body of the manuscript. Min 30 source
