Focus and Scope

PERDIKAN journal focuses on community engagement programs and the manuscript is about applied knowledge or science in the community to advance theories, research, and practices related to all forms of outreach and engagement. Community engagement means services to society, applying knowledge or science and technology based on their field, increasing the capacity of society and community empowerment. The PERDIKAN journal draws on existing issues from those varieties of fields. This includes highlighting the innovation of community empowerment, and reporting on engaged research, community-based research, action research, and community services, as well as improving the knowledge and practice in the field of purposive community engagement. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services.

PERDIKAN particularly focuses on the main problems in the development of the sciences of community services areas as follows:
1) Community Services, People/Society, and  Local Food;
2) Less Developed Region;
3) Student Community Services;
4) Training for Sustainable Development;
5) Community Empowerment, Social Access possibility, including Environmental Issues.
