Focus and Scope

The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services, community-based research, and community-based participatory research. PERDIKAN particularly focuses on the main problems in the development of the research-based community services areas as follows:

  1. Community Services, People, Training, and  Local Food Security;
  2. Student Community Services;
  3. Less Developed Region;
  4. Education for Sustainable Development;
  5. Community Empowerment, including Social Access, Environmental Issues.

 

Peer Review Process

Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Desk Review and Initial Manuscript Evaluation processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bebestari or peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Single-Blind Peer-Review Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month (four week) for a maximum time. In the each manuscript, Mitra Bebestari/ peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Mitra Bebestari/ peer reviewer that collaboration with JPKM is the experts in the public administration area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious journal management and publication that was spread around the national and abroad. Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research available to the public for free supports a greater global exchange of knowledge in term of community engagement. This journal is accessible on the public internet, permitting any users (academics, students, lecturer, etc.) to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, and also reproduction in any medium, provided that the Contribution is properly cited and is not used for commercial purposes. The Contribution will be made Open Access under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
