Animasi media pembelajaran keislaman untuk anak autis dan tuna wicara di Rumah Qur’an Inklusif Sidoarjo
Abstract
This community service activity was carried out at the Ananda Mutiara Indonesia Foundation (Y-AMI), which assists Children with Special Needs (ABK) in the Sidoarjo area. One problem that arises is the need to meet limited learning tools and learning media that must be creative and creative, making the teaching of the Qur'an and Islam problematic. Problems related to the learning media cannot be adjusted to the classification of autism and speech-impaired children's disorders. Learning the Qur'an and Islam that is not by the needs of children with autism and speech impairment is a problem in this community. Through Participatory Action Research (PAR), the servants determine solutions to partner problems, including teaching methods for reading the Qur'an that is tailored to the individual conditions of children with autism, namely the Qur'an learning media by the WAFA method, which means the teaching method uses the right brain) which is designed creatively and innovatively by applying the Kinemaster learning video animation community service product. Meanwhile, Islamic learning methods are also adapted to the individual conditions of speech-impaired children, namely by using Islamic learning media that are designed creatively and innovatively by applying the community service product, animation video, and Kinemaster learning.
(Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Yayasan Ananda Mutiara Indonesia (Y-AMI) yang bergerak pada pendampingan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) daerah Sidoarjo. Salah satu problematika yang timbul yakni kebutuhan dalam pemenuhan perangkat pembelajaran yang terbatas serta media pembelajaran yang harus berinovasi dan kreatif menjadikan problematika pengajaran Al-Qur’an dan Keislaman. Keresahan media pembelajaran yang belum bisa disesuaikan dengan klasifikasi gangguan anak autism dan tuna wicara. Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dan Keislaman yang belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak autism dan tuna wicara menjadi permasalahan dalam komunitas ini. Melalui pendekatan Partisipatoris, pengabdi menentukan solusi dari permasalahan mitra, antara lain metode pengajaran membaca Al-Qur’an disesuaikan dengan kondisi individu anak autism yaitu dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Al-Qur’an metode WAFA (metode yang pengajarannya menggunakan otak kanan) yang didesain kreatif dan inovatif dengan menerapkan produk pengabdian masyarakat animasi video pembelajaran Kinemaster. Sedangkan metode pembelajaran keislaman juga disesuaikan dengan kondisi individu anak tuna wicara yaitu dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran keislaman yang didesain kreatif dan inovatif dengan menerapkan produk pengabdian masyarakat animasi video pembelajaran Kinemaster).
