About the Journal
Focus and Scope
RABBANI: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam, focuses on the publication of research findings and conceptual studies in the field of Islamic Religious Education, with special attention to the development of theory, instructional practices, and educational policies in contemporary Islamic education. The scope of this journal includes, but is not limited to, innovation in Islamic Religious Education (read: PAI) learning, professional development of PAI teachers, character and Islamic values education, PAI in multicultural and global contexts, as well as evaluation and assessment in PAI. Rabbani Journal accepts original manuscripts from researchers and authors and publishes articles twice a year, in March and September.
Peer Review Process
Manuscripts submitted by authors will undergo an initial screening by the editorial team. The review process employs a blind review system. Manuscripts that are deemed not in accordance with the journal’s scope and guidelines will be rejected without external review. Meanwhile, manuscripts considered to have potential relevance and contribution to readers will be forwarded to peer reviewers.
Prior to the review process, all manuscripts will be checked for similarity using Turnitin software. If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be immediately rejected.
The final decision on the manuscript will be made by the editorial board based on the evaluations provided by the reviewers. The possible decisions are: accepted without revision, minor revision, major revision, or rejected. Authors of rejected manuscripts will be notified along with the reasons for rejection.
