Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

TITLE

The title should be a phrase that reflects the content or topic of the article and must not exceed 20 words. The title page must also include the authors’ names without academic titles. Indicate the corresponding author by adding an asterisk to their name, and provide their details in a footnote (name, affiliation, and email address). The format should use Book Antiqua font, size 12, single spacing, boldface, and capitalize the first letter of each word.

ABSTRACT

This abstract section should be typed in Book Antiqua and font size of11 pt and number of words around of 150. The abstract should be typed in English and Indonesian. The abstract should be typed as concise as possible and should be composed of: problem statement, subject of research, method, and scientific finding results. The abstract should only be typed in one paragraph and one-column format.

Bagian abstrak ini harus diketik dalam Book Antiqua dan ukuran font 11 pt dan jumlah kata sekitar 150. Abstrak harus diketik dalam bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia. Abstrak harus diketik sesingkat mungkin dan harus terdiri dari: pernyataan masalah, subjek penelitian, metode, dan hasil temuan ilmiah. Abstrak hanya diketik dalam satu paragraf dan format satu kolom.

Keyword: consisting of 3-6 words – Book Antiqua, 11 pt font.

 

Inroduction - - - Book Antiqua, Bold, 12 pt, 1,5 Spacing

This section contains an introduction, background of the problem, research issues, and the theoretical framework used as a basis and reference for understanding the problem. All of these points should be presented comprehensively without headings or subheadings.[1] (Example of Footnote) The background and literature review (state of the art) should be described and used as the basis for formulating the research question, emphasizing the scientific aspect of the article, and identifying the main research problem. At the end of the introduction, the research objective must be explicitly stated.

 

Research Methodology - - - Book Antiqua, Bold, 12 pt, 1,5 Spacing

The method serves as a tool to solve the research problem and includes the analytical approach used. The method employed must be explained in detail in the methodology section.[2]

 

Result and Discussion - - - Book Antiqua, Bold, 12 pt, 1,5 Spasing

This section presents the research findings and how they are discussed. The results must be supported by relevant and sufficient data. The findings represent the answers to the research questions posed in the introduction. The discussion explains the results and findings through analysis, arguments, comparisons, and highlights the novel contributions of the research. The use of tables and figures should follow the guidelines provided below:

Conclusion - - - Book Antiqua, Bold, 12 pt, 1,5 Spasing

The conclusion must be concise, precise, and clear, referring to the study’s results and limited to a maximum of one page. It should be written in paragraph form (not in bullet points or numbering) and contain the main and significant findings as a synthesis of the analysis and research results, as well as the scholarly contributions to the study and development of Islamic Religious Education.

 

Bibliography - - - Book Antiqua, Bold, 12 pt, Spasi 1

The bibliography must follow the Chicago Manual Style 17th edition (Full Footnote). The use of a Reference Management Tool is strongly recommended.
