Abstract

As the years go by, bullying behavior both verbally, physically and psychologically increases. This research aims, (1) To find out students who have experienced cases of bullying; (2) To find out the type of bullying received by MI Al Amin Kakiang students; (3) To find out the role of religious teachers and madrasah programs in handling bullying cases. This research model is a qualitative descriptive method. The population of this research was MI Al Amin Kakiang Sumbawa students with a total of 25 students. The data collection technique was obtained through 1) Observation: the researcher observed the place, then looked for data on students who were victims and perpetrators of bullying cases at the educational institution with information from students, teachers and the school principal. 2) Interview: researchers will seek information from students, homeroom teachers, religious teachers and school principals regarding their views and ways of dealing with bullying among students which often occurs. Based on the data obtained, it turns out that there are still several incidents that occur at school, namely insulting, insulting, cursing loudly and harshly, hitting and pinching. All bullying is carried out by students in educational institutions. So the bullying received by students has an impact on their attitudes, which experience several changes, including: trauma, not having the courage, and being lazy about coming to school. The influence of students' social environment has positive and negative impacts. The role of religious teachers in overcoming bullying is very important in various ways.
