PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERBASIS NILAI-NILAI RELIGIUS
Abstract
penekanan pada dimensi kognitif dan mengabaikan dimensi-dimensi lain
ternyata telah melahirkan manusia dengan kepribadian pecah (split
personality). Lulusan pada saat ini cenderung bersikap sekuler,
materialistik, rasionalistik, hedonistik, dan kurang terbina mental
spiritualnya dan kurang memiliki kecerdasan emosional. Berdasarkan hal
tersebut, pendidikan karakter sangat tepat dicanangkan pada semua lini
dan jenjang pendidikan. Pendidikan karakter diproyeksikan sebagai core
(inti) dari pendidikan nasional, yakni membentuk manusia yang beriman,
bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia. Untuk itu, pendidikan karakter dapat
dilaksanakan melalui empat strategi, yaitu: pertama, strategi inklusif dapat
dilakukan oleh guru mata pelajaran apapun ke dalam penyusunan silabus
dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP); kedua, strategi budaya
sekolah; ketiga, strategi eksplorasi diri (self explorer); dan keempat, strategi
penilaian teman sejawat (peer group evaluation).
