Efektivitas Layanan Informasi Karier terhadap Pemahaman Karier Peserta Didik Kelas XII di SMA ITP Surabaya
Abstract
Career information services are guidance and counseling services that support students to gain knowledge about careers. This study aims to know the effectiveness of career information services on the career understanding of students at SMA ITP Surabaya. The phenomenon at Pembangunan Intensif Taruna Surabaya High School was that learners were late to sign up SNMPTN because students have difficulty registing SNMPTN, lack understanding of the career information their school teachers gave them, and were less active in looking for information about their careers. Researchers use animated and tiktok videos because the use of such media appeals to learners in the acquisition of information. This study is a pre-experiment quantitative study using the one-group pre-test design. The population of this study totaled 30 class XII MIA 2 Students High Schools Intensif Taruna Pembangunan Surabaya Development exercises. The sample in this study applies a sampling which has a particular purpose toward understanding the career of learners, which is 1) students who struggle with SNMPTN, 2) students who do not understand career information, 3) less-active trainees search for information that will be selected as a sample. The method of collecting data was measurement, which was later validated, used the building's validity. The analysis of the data applied is that wilcoxon tests USES SPSS for Windows 26.0. Based on the results of the wicoxon test analysis on the statistic test table for calculations obtained from asymp. Sig (2-tailed) = 0.028 < / I of 0.05, then it would be an acceptable ha. Based on studies it may be concluded that following implementation of career information services using animation and tiktok videos can increase the understanding of career of XII MIA 2 student at High School of Surabaya Development point to low, medium, high.
