ISLAMISASI ILMU PENGETAHUAN DAN APLIKASINYA DALAM PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract
Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan sejak kelahirannya mengundang para ahli untuk memperbincangkannya. Kalangan cendekiawan Muslim yang berpendapat pentingnya ilmu pengtahuan meyakini bahwa ilmu pengetahuan sangat urgen untuk diislamkan, mengingat ilmu pengetahuan—dalam pandangan mereka—telah teracuni nilai-nilai ideologi dan filosofi Barat yang banyak bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam. Adalah al-Faruqi dan al-Attas—dua tokoh sentral—ide islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan yang secara getol mempropagandakan ide itu dengan tujuan mengembalikan ilmu pengetahuan yang dinilai telah keluar dari kerangka aksiologisnya. Dalam pikiran mereka, ilmu pengetahuan yang berkembang saat ini bukan lagi untuk kemanfaatan manusia tapi telah mengarah kepada kerusakan dan kehancuran umat manusia.
